2010 Schedule Of Events
Wednesday, October 20th
- :00 am to 5:00 pm - RO1 and RO2 Classes in the dining area at Cowboy Doug's Town. The cost is $10 for RO1 and $25 for RO2. There is no charge for RO refresher course.
- 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm - registration open in the Main Event Tent.
Thursday, October 21st
All Day (8:00 am to 5:00 pm)
- Purchase Saturday Night Banquet tickets until 5:00 pm
- Shooter's Registration and prize drawing in the Main Event Tent.
- Shopping along Vendor's Row.
- T-shirts are available for purchase.
Scheduled Events
- 9:00 am - Wild Bunch Match on Bays 1 and 2. $10 fee paid at Main Event Tent.
- 8:00 am to 12:00 pm - Long range events at Cowan Ranch. Highway 80 to mile marker 318 Gleeson Road. Turn left. Stay right at the wash. After the first cattle guard, watch for the CAS sign on your right at about 1.1 iles (Cowan Ranch Rd). Directions will be available in the Main Event Tent.
- 9:00 am, 11:00 am, 1 pm - Bordertown Blast on Bays 4, 5, and 6 - 3 stage warm-up -
$10 fee paid at Main Event Tent.
- 9:00 pm to 3:00 pm - Speed pistol, rifle and shotgun on Bay 3. Pay at the stage,
$1.00 per firearm or $15.00 for all day.
- 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm - Plainsman event at Bays 1 and 2. $10 fee paid at Main
Event Tent.
- 3:00 pm - RANGE CLOSED.
- 4:00 pm - Posse Marshall's meeting on Bay 1.
- 6:00 pm - Chuck Wagon Dinners by Cowboy Doug & Tequila Terrie at the Roadhouse in Cowboy Doug's Town
- 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm - Talent Night! A Cowboy Poetry and Music gathering. Ifyou do cowboy poetry, play music, or sing, please sign up with Cowboy Doug, 520-457-3559.
Friday, October 22nd
All Day (8:00 am to 5:00 pm)
- Last day to purchase Saturday Night Banquet tickets until 5:00 pm.
- Shopping along Vendor's Row.

- 7:30 am - Mandatory shooter's safety meeting for morning posses at main tent.
- 8:00 am to 12:00 am - Six Main Stages - 1st shift.
- Noon - Mandatory shooter's safety meeting for afternoon posses at main tent.
- 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm - Six Main Stages - 2nd shift.
- 5:00 pm - RANGE CLOSED.
- 6:00 pm - Chuck Wagon Dinner at the Roadhouse in Cowboy Doug's Town.
- 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm - Texas Hold-Em Poker Night hosted by Solicitor General - Main
Event Tent. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Tickets available at the door.
Saturday, October 23rd
All Day (8:00 am to 5:00 pm)
- Shopping along Vendor's Row.
Scheduled Events
- 8:00 am to 12:00 am - Six Main Stages - 1st shift.
- 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm - Six Main Stages - 2nd shift.
- 5:00 pm - RANGE CLOSED.
- 6:00 pm - Banquet in the Main Event Tent. After dinne live music. Come and enjoy music, dancing, and prize drawings.
Sunday, October 24th
- 8:00 am to 8:30 am - Cowboy Church services with The Parsons - Main Event Tent.
- 8:45 am to 11:00 am - "Duel in the Desert" man-on-man & woman-on-woman on
Bay 3.
- 8:45 am to 11:00 am - Test your skill at the "Bordertown Showdown", shoot
once or as much as your like on Bay 4. $2 for each time you shoot.
- 9:30 am to 11:00 am - "Couples Event" on bay 1 - hosted by No Horse Charlie and Goodness Grace.
- 11:00 am RANGE CLOSED.
- 11:30 AM - Raffle Drawings and AWARDS CEREMONY in Main Event Tent.
